1. Information processed locally during gameplay

The game uses the device's XR features to render the experience and respond to your movements. This is local processing on your headset; these inputs are not sent to us or to a developer-operated server.

Hand, finger and headset tracking
The game receives real-time position, orientation and tracking information about your hands, fingers and headset. It uses this information to balance the character on your fingertip, detect gameplay interactions and position the scene and interface. We do not record tracking histories, use them to identify you, or upload them.
Optional eye-gaze input
On compatible devices, and when the relevant device permission is granted, the interaction system may use eye-gaze direction locally to target interface interactions. The game does not receive raw eye-camera images, record gaze histories or send gaze data to us.
Optional room and surface information
With the relevant spatial-data permission, the game may read the headset's scene information, such as surface positions, bounds and labels, to place the miniature stage on a suitable surface. It does not upload this information or create a developer-held copy of your room map. A virtual stand is available without access to room data.
Passthrough
In mixed reality mode, the headset displays your surroundings behind the game using its standard passthrough layer. The game does not access raw passthrough camera frames, record camera images or video, or send them to us.

These inputs are used to provide the gameplay and interactions you request. Optional device permissions remain under your control through the headset's settings.

2. Local scores, settings and diagnostics

The game stores progress and preferences on your device so they remain available between sessions. These include:

These records are not linked by the game to a name, Meta profile or developer account. The game does not upload them, and its app cloud-backup features are disabled.

The game can also write technical diagnostic messages to local device logs, such as game-state changes, tracking availability, timing and score statistics. It does not automatically send these logs to us. If you choose to send a log to support, we handle that copy as support correspondence.

3. Account data and online services

Don't Drop Me does not use Meta Platform account features to retrieve Meta user IDs, profile names, profile pictures, friends or followers. The game does not implement Meta invitations, social matchmaking, in-app purchases or developer-operated online leaderboards.

You do not create an account with us or provide a name, email address or date of birth to play. We do not operate a player database or gameplay-data backend for this game. The game does not include advertising, behavioral profiling, developer-operated analytics or automatic crash-report uploads.

We do not sell player data or share it for targeted advertising. Using Meta XR features for tracking and rendering is separate from accessing Meta account information through Meta Platform features.

4. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include, such as your message, attachments or a description of an issue. We use this information to respond, provide support, handle privacy requests and keep the correspondence needed to resolve your request.

Please send only information relevant to your request. We do not need your Meta password, access tokens or identity documents for ordinary support or deletion requests.

For support correspondence, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to users and resolving requests, performance of a service you ask us to provide where applicable, or compliance with legal obligations when handling statutory requests.

5. Visiting this website

This privacy website is hosted on Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting a web page involves technical request information, such as an IP address, the requested URL, request time, and browser or device information. Cloudflare may process this information for delivery, reliability and security in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

We do not add analytics scripts, advertising pixels, third-party fonts, embedded media, or tracking cookies to this website. The site has no registration or submission form. Our purpose and legitimate interest in using the hosting service is to make these public pages available and keep them secure.

Website delivery is separate from gameplay. Hosting this policy does not mean that the game sends gameplay data to Cloudflare.

6. Meta and device services

Meta separately operates the headset, operating system, account and store services. It may process information for those services under its own policies and your device settings, including platform diagnostics or purchases made through the store. We do not control that separate processing, and this policy does not claim that Meta processes no information.

Read the Supplemental Meta Platforms Technologies Privacy Policy and use Meta's privacy and device controls for information managed by Meta.

7. How long information is kept and who receives it

Our email and hosting service providers may process support or website information as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose relevant correspondence where required by law or necessary to deal with a legal claim. We do not send gameplay tracking or local score data to those providers.

Service providers may process support or website information outside your country. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy explains its international processing and transfer safeguards. Contact us if you need more information about the handling of a particular support request.

8. Deletion and your device controls

Every Don't Drop Me user may request deletion of personal information under our control, free of charge, regardless of country, state, region or other geographic location.

Remove local game data

Use your headset's option to clear the app's data or storage, where available, or uninstall Don't Drop Me. This removes the local game scores and preferences. We cannot remotely access or erase saves on your headset, and there is no developer-held game account or cloud-save record to delete.

You can manage or revoke optional spatial and eye-tracking permissions in the headset's settings. Removing the app's data does not delete a system room map or other information held by Meta; use the device's spatial-data and privacy controls for that information.

Delete information you sent to us

Email privacy@builder-vr.com with the subject Don't Drop Me — Data deletion and describe the correspondence or information you want removed. Sending the request from the email address you previously used usually lets us identify the relevant messages. We ask for additional verification only when reasonably necessary.

We respond without undue delay and within the time limits required by applicable law. If we must retain limited information because of a legal obligation or a legal claim, we explain what must be retained and why, and restrict its use to that purpose. Where no relevant information is held, we tell you that.

See the dedicated Data Deletion page for these steps in one place.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Contact privacy@builder-vr.com to exercise your rights or ask a question. We do not require you to create an account or provide a Meta user ID. The free deletion-request option described above is available worldwide and is not limited to regions with particular privacy laws.

10. Younger players

The game does not ask players to provide their age or create a developer account. Players and parents or guardians should follow the game's store age rating and the headset provider's account and supervision requirements.

A parent or guardian may contact us about a child's support correspondence or request its deletion using the same privacy email address.

11. Changes and contact

This policy describes the current version of Don't Drop Me. If we add online features or otherwise change how information is handled, we will update this page before the new processing starts and obtain any permissions required. The date at the top shows the latest revision.

For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact privacy@builder-vr.com.
